Welcome to Pleasant Mountain Camping Area and Birch Point Cottages
We will have Maine State Covid 19 restrictions in place for use of our campground this Summer of 2021. We are asking, for people to be vaccinated and if not you will have to wear a mask walking around the campground. Reservations are required with a 2 night minimum. Each tent site will have their own bathroom and will be responsible for disinfecting upon leaving . If you have a trailer and are camping , you must use your own bathroom. We expect everyone to practice safe social distancing even if you have been vaccinated. We are not accepting large groups at this time. We offer touchless paying with Venmo an I will come and register you as well. Thank you for helping us to follow through with our guidelines. You must pay for any vaccinated quests who visit. We are a Family friendly quiet campground located at the base of Pleasant Mountain and on Moose Pond in beautiful Denmark, Maine
There are plenty of activities to choose from right here, from swimming in the Lake, to hiking up all the many trails of Pleasant Mountain. There is also tons of fun to be had on the lake that include swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing and fishing ,or just sitting relaxing on our beach. No Jet Skis or Wake Boats allowed here.
We have a small playground, a place to shoot baskets, dig in our sandpile or swing on our swings. We have a small picnic area by the lake and a nice beach area. We also have a dock you can rent to bring your boat to.
Come and camp by the lake in one of our many wooded sites near the water. Everything is a close walk to your site and we have a small laundromat and Library as well.
We sell fire wood ( our own , (Mostly cut and split on premisies.) We also and rent out paddleboards, kayaks and canoes.
We are conveniently located by several great Golf Courses in Lovell, Bridgton and Naples and also we are located only a half hour from North Conway N.H. Also close to some wonderful hiking trails and not too far a drive from the white Mt. National Forest
Most campsites come with water, sewer, and electric @ $35-38 $ per night for tents. 40$ for tent trailers and 45$ for trailers with a discount added if you stay a week or more.
Our campground was built in the early 60s so we only have a few sites that would accommodate a larger trailer 30' and under. We consider ourselves dog friendly as long as your dog is friendly and good around other dogs and people. We have a7$ per night dog fee and require picking up after them. They are not allowed on the public beach. No 2nd dogs please$$$. We accept donations to our local animal shelter, Harvest Hills as well. ( a no Kill shelter)
